Two hours of exclusive use of our Gold Coast plantation-style chapel or one of our stunning outdoor ceremony locations. Antique pews seat 120 guests with room for 200 more through open lattice-style walls.
Choose from iconic settings including Under the Fig Tree, The Bell Tower, Lakeside and One Tree Hill. Available Sunday to Thursday. Optional extras include outdoor seating, a 4WD buggy with driver, wandering waiters, canapés and sparkling wine on the chapel lawn.
Ceremony & Reception
Our flagship all-inclusive package provides complete venue hire for your ceremony and reception at our Gold Coast location. You have exclusive access to our grounds and facilities for a full 48-hour period, including the day before for setup and rehearsal.
Custom food and drink options tailored to your preferences. Pricing from $10,000 for intimate mid-week events to $30,000 for larger weekend functions, based on guest count and date.
Reception Only
Had your ceremony on the beach, at a local church, or somewhere close to your heart? Bring the celebration to Pioneer Country. Our reception barn seats up to 220 guests with full catering, styling and a midnight licence included.

Mini-Matrimony & Elopement
Ready to tie the knot without the fuss? Our Mini-Matrimony package lets you design your own stress-free intimate celebration, choosing from photographers, celebrant, cakes and champagne towers. Everything you need, nothing you don’t.
Our Elopement package includes a celebrant, on-the-day coordinator, 2-hour venue hire and chapel use, available Monday to Thursday. Invite as many guests as you like.

Howdy! I’m Sarah, your in-house wedding planner here at Pioneer Country. Pleasure to meet you.
Our roots run deep here. The Sullivan family has been tending to this farm since 1892, and we’ve been in the hospitality game since 1976 when we opened the Smokehouse Steakhouse right on the property. Our chapel was actually built in 1994 for my wedding to a fella called Bruce from Yorkshire.
As a fourth-generation Sullivan, this place holds a special spot in my heart. I grew up in the old dairy cottage, and now my brother’s family calls it home. Family’s a big deal around here. From horse trail rides to the family restaurant, I’ve worn many hats. But it was my time in Brisbane, London, Melbourne and Shanghai that really honed my skills. Those big city adventures prepped me well for running our little piece of Northern Rivers paradise.
Whether you’re flying by the seat of your pants or you’ve got a Pinterest board bursting at the seams, I’m here to make your vision a reality. From wrangling vendors to keeping tabs on the budget, I’ve got your back every step of the way. My mission is to make your planning journey as smooth as silk.
